Whew, there were some fantastic deals to be had on OLED gaming monitors across Black Friday and Cyber Monday. While most of them have expired by now, I managed to spot one last deal for you latecomers: a 39-inch LG ultrawide gaming monitor for $830 on Amazon. That’s an impressive $670 off its regular price.
The LG UltraGear 39GS95QE is a little bigger than your typical ultrawide without getting into gargantuan size. With its semi-standard 3440×1440 resolution and curved panel, it shouldn’t tax your gaming PC too hard… unless you try to hit its maximum 240Hz refresh rate with any recent 3D game. The 0.03ms response time and G-Sync support are also hot.
The monitor’s connection options are a little sparse, with DisplayPort and double HDMI supplemented by just two bonus USB-A ports. (Sadly, no USB-C connections.) That means this monitor is targeted at the desktop PC crowd, who might want to add on a VESA monitor arm.
Amazon does not have this listed as a promotional price or a special deal, but other retailers still have this monitor at its original price, so it looks like one supplier is trying to get rid of some extra stock. If you’re ready to buy, you might want to get it fast because it likely won’t be around for long.
