ChatGPT apparently has 300 million weekly active users, and the AI chatbot receives over 1 billion messages every day. Altman also boasts that over 1.3 million developers in the US alone have built upon OpenAI for various tools and services. We’ll be seeing more of OpenAI in the coming weeks, as the company announced that starting today it will be holding 12 days of livestreams, one per day, with “a bunch of new things, big and small” being revealed and discussed in each one. The video-generating AI tool called Sora might be one of them!
