Whoa! Get Acer’s 27-inch IPS monitor for just $100 right now

Since I work with graphics and photos for my job, I don’t buy VA monitors, even if I find a good deal. I need the extra color accuracy of an IPS panel. Today, you can get this 27-inch IPS monitor from Acer for just $99.99 on Amazon. That’s 33% off the list price and about as low as you’re going to see for an IPS monitor from a reliable brand.

The Acer KB272 is a budget monitor with its standard 1080p resolution and lack of USB extras. But surprisingly it can handle some light gaming thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate, adaptive sync capability, and 1ms response time. It won’t blow you away if you’re used to a dedicated gaming monitor, but it’s a lot better than the usual budget fare.

I’d also say it makes a great addition to an existing multi-monitor desktop setup thanks to its thin bezels and standard 100mm VESA mount. You can use it with any monitor arm or third-party stand. Note that the connections are a bit limited with just HDMI and VGA, but it comes with an HDMI cable in the box. You can also plug in your headphones.

Amazon doesn’t say how long the sale will last, but since the Big Spring Sale promotion is nearing its end, I doubt it’ll stick around for long.
