Looking for help on when to initiate a new position vs DCA an existing one?

So I'm struggling to find some good resources on this one. I would love to hear some of y'alls thoughts on this, or to be pointed in the right direction on where I can learn more.

I hold about 20 positions right now and of those there are a few I would gladly add to if I had more capital and more than a few I would add to if they dropped a bit.

Additonally there are 5 stocks I would for sure buy right now at their price points if I had the capital and 30 more I'm interested in and watching closely. What metrics/tools do I look at to make the right call here?

Stocks I own that I would buy right now

ABBV, Price today $134, DCA : $152 ALB, Price today $223, DCA : $216 GOOG, Price today $121, DCA : $122 PACW, Price today $8.15, DCA : $8.59

Stocks I would buy right now,

Steel Dynamics (STLD), Canadian Solar (CSIQ), International Paper (IP), Cheniere Energy (LNG), Bank of America (BAC)
