 Nvidia's RTX 50-series drivers feel half-baked, focus too much on MFG

Nvidia needed to modify its drivers to support the new Blackwell GPUs. It also recommended some changes in how people benchmark graphics cards, specifically related to MFG. Neither of these things appears to have been beneficial for Nvidia's latest GPUs, on the whole.

 Asus publishes GeForce RTX 5090 prices: $3,099 for range-topping model

Asus plans to charge significantly more than Nvidia's MSRP for its GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090 products. It has "special launch day pricing" on the base models that drops them $200, but of course those sold out, because everything did.
