
2020 was a year like no other. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the personal and professional lives of millions of people. Symfony was no exception and we struggled at times during this year. Nonetheless, thanks to your help and support, we won through and 2020 was a good year for Symfony, all things considered.
Releases¶ We released two new major versions: Symfony 4.1 in May and Symfony 5.2 in November. We also published 59 maintenance versions in six different branches (3.4, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0, 5.1

Symfony development highlights
This week, 33 pull requests were merged (20 in code and 13 in docs) and 49 issues were closed (44 in code and 5 in docs). See details for code and docs.

This week, Symfony 4.4.18, [5.1.10](Symfony 5.1.10 released) and [5.2.1](Symfony 5.2.1 released) maintenance versions were released. Meanwhile, the pre-conference workshops for the next Symfony conferences were announced. Lastly, a special Christmas Sale was announced for all certifications.

This week, Symfony published the videos of the SymfonyWorld Online 2020 conference, allowing attendees to watch all the talks again. As a bonus, two of those videos, related to Symfony UX were published for free.
