Ibanez AW70ECE-NT Natural High Gloss

Electro-acoustic guitar with cutaway dreadnought body shape from Artwood series that was crafted to produce a traditional as well as a modern instrument – this model therefore respects the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in the search for the ultimate in guitar tone. It features a top made of solid Sitka spruce wood that, combined with mahogany back and sides, provides powerful and crispy sound. The neck is connected to the body via dovetail joint and is also made of mahogany. Scale length is 651 mm, nut width is 43 mm and fingerboard radius is 400 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Ibanez under saddle pickup and the Ibanez SPT Shape Shifter preamp which has a 3-band tone control and shape control along with a built-in electronic tuner. In additio n to the 6.3mm output jack, a balanced XLR jack is included for direct connection to a PA system. AA battery operation avoids the difficulty in finding replacement batteries. Other features include chrome die-cast tuners, rosewood fingerboard and bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, and D’Addario EXP strings. Natural colour design with low gloss finish.
