Looking For - Looking for a technical lead to launch a SaaS web application. The MVP is currently being built but needs someone who can get it across the finish line and really own the product going forward. Ideally would like someone who can be 100% full-time committed and is at the point in their career where they are confident, motivated, hungry, but humble. Obviously want an experienced, high-quality developer, but really want a high-quality person as well. Current MVP - The backend API is built and we're working on the front-end at the moment. The MVP stack consists of React, Material UI, Python, Docker, Keycloak, and is deployed on Heroku, although I'm not opposed to a new stack post-MVP if this setup doesn't work or isn't scalable. The Team - Currently have a team of three people working on it in their spare time, roughly 5-15 hours a week per person, but nobody has jumped all-in yet. The back-end leader is very experienced just more old school, the front-end developer is younger and very strong when he's plugged in, and I also have a junior front-end developer who helps with small things. All good people I've been able to bring in via networking, and are currently being compensated via equity only (with the occasional Uber Eats gift card). I've hired a few contractors but none have really been worth the cost so far, but not opposed to trying again. On the non-technical side, I have a business partner who will handle everything post-customer acquisition on the services side, and I have a few others involved helping me with some small marketing projects. Validated Concept - The product concept has been highly validated. I built a clickable prototype in UXpin and conducted over 100 demos to target customer profiles which helped to iterate and refine the idea. The market for this type of software is on fire right now with everyone working remotely. From those demos, we have about $500k in the pipeline. If you don't know what pipeline is, please don't respond to this post. The Business - The company is a registered C-Corp in Delaware and able to distribute equity. For the right person, open to any equity share arrangement. On the investment side, I've been networking with investors ranging from angels to institutional investors so we have options if we need it, but right now we're bootstrapping it using my funds. About Me - My most recent job was VP of Marketing for a 250-person B2B Tech company, but I decided to focus on this 100% on January 1. I've worked for start-ups before and my last four companies have either been acquired by private equity groups or gone public. I bring lots of marketing, sales, business development, services, and operational experience, just need that committed technical partner. If interested, message me. submitted by /u/DasFumey [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/m6zptu/usamarketing12_seeking_cto_for_b2b_goal/
