About me I ran a very successful e-commerce agency for 8 years in Chicago. I have been into e-commerce world for over 12 years. I am a technical by trade although I have been focusing mostly on business last several years. I am Shopify PLUS partner and partner with a few other enterprise platforms. Last 2-3 years I have seen a huge demand for B2B e-commerce needs at the agency. Non of the available SAAS platforms offer what B2B e-commerce requires (more in private). We have been doing custom work for long or using unreliable apps. We work mostly with Shopify PLUS and that is not suitable for B2B generally. Other SAAS platforms don't offer much. I decided to start designing a headless platform that offers B2B businesses what they really need (more info in private). I have launched over 20 successful B2B projects and over 100 D2C and I know personally first hand what are the critical business complications, needs and solutions. Besides the agency demand for custom solutions I also took a survey through my network of merchants and I was surprised to see the demand. I have a waiting list with dozens of potential customers who beg to complete this ASAP. Concept is proven. I have my other agency parter taking lead on the consulting business and I am gradually focusing myself to build this platform. I see this my next big thing. The product A SAAS platform to provide B2B e-commerce businesses all what they need. A flexible headless storefront (that can use any available platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Netsuite etc in back-end for order management) that offers complete custom pricing structure for groups/tiers, personalized quoting system, quick and advanced product search, and comprehensive product catalogs and merchandising, unified and personalized promotions and offers... among other things. The customers target is businesses $2-$20ml. It's a semi enterprise solution. The market has been growing exponentially and with COVID is unbelievably becoming the fastest growing sector. What I am looking I designed the MVP and asked some of offshore team to start building an MVP (initially a simple Shopify app) but my vision is far beyond what they can handle. I am looking for an experience senior developer who is capable to take ownership of the product. Preferably someone with e-commerce and SAAS experience. Your role is going to be the CTO eventually, but you will be responsible for building the MVP as well. You must be a full stack developer (NodeJS, React, AWS experience is preferred). You should have a deep understanding of UX as well as building a scalable and robust infrastructure. We have a board of advisors (all experience entrepreneurs).
