I am the creator and owner of a small spirituality business, Deanna Rose's House of Well-Being, an online spiritual health center. I am looking for a partner who can take over the marketing aspect of the business as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). If you have a passion for spiritual health and marketing but maybe not much or any "real-world" experience and want a chance to demonstrate your knowledge, then you should keep reading :) As I said, I am searching for a Chief Marketing Officer. The CMO’s responsibility will be the marketing of Deanna Rose’s House of Well-Being; attracting clients and making sales. THE POSITION: Main responsibilities: Service marketing and sales (CMO’s primary focus) SEO - website, blog posts, products, and services. Social media - hashtag research, posting, optional editorial calendar planning. Product marketing and sales. Option for writing blog posts but not a requirement. I can put together the editorial calendar for most social media and blog posts but this is something you can add on to. Marketing strategy and execution. This is more of a partnership than an employee/employer. When the business makes money, you make money. You bring in the clients, I deliver on services and products, we both make money. Would probably start around 10 hours a week with the hopes that this could grow into a full-time position. PAYMENT (negotiable) 60%/40% split of each purchase, so commission-based to start; paid out starting monthly but can work towards weekly or bi-weekly paydays. My goal is for this to grow beyond just commission pay for the CMO. But being that I am such a small business with a small budget, we both will have commission pay until we grow. ABOUT ME, DEANNA ROSE I am Portuguese-American, my preferred pronouns are She/Her. Meditation and spiritual health are my passions, as are earth and wildlife conservation, art, pagan and witchcraft practices, and teaching. I am aiming to create a business that is an authentic reflection of my soul’s passions. My spiritual practice has been going on for 15 years including meditation, esoteric studies, intuitive art, pagan practices, energy healing. At HoWB, my responsibilities are creating and fulfilling services (Experiences) for The Experience Shop, making products for The Crooked Cauldron and Gratitude Gifts, shipping and packaging, YOU - The ideal CMO would possess these qualities: Doesn’t need lots of experience but willing to jump right in, confident in getting results. Understand the saying “sell a good night’s sleep, not a mattress” You are confident in your ability to collaborate, strategize, execute, and get results (sales) A strategist and executor. Fluent in English. US-based is somewhat preferred mostly to prevent extreme time zones conflicts but this is not at all a requirement. I work from the California (PST) time zone. 18+ years old. If you’ve been looking for a chance to demonstrate your knowledge and execution of your marketing/sales/advertising skills, this could be a perfect fit for you. The main thing is authenticity, the genuine call to help others discover and build their spiritual health. If you don’t genuinely enjoy marketing or genuinely resonate with my business’s mission, this probably won’t be a good fit. ABOUT DEANNA ROSE’S HOUSE OF WELL-BEING Deanna Rose’s House of Well-Being is a virtual spiritual health center, focused on helping others “Build a Spiritual Practice and Sustain Spiritual Wellness” HoWB has The Experience Shop, where I currently sell services such as tarot card readings, remote reiki healings, and aura portraits. Each purchase from The Experience Shop gives the client the option to receive a Gratitude Gift: mini/single serving versions of the four handmade trinkets that will be offered at The Crooked Cauldron: candles, incense cones, foot salts, and clay face masks. Upcoming additions to HoWB is The Crooked Cauldron, where I plan to sell physical products, full-size versions of Gratitude Gifts, so candles, bath salts, incense, and clay face masks. All products are handmade with sustainable ingredients and recycled/upcycled packaging and products. Another upcoming addition is my meditation class series, a membership based class focused on teaching meditation to others, ranging from beginner-advanced practices. I focus on a sustainable, earth-friendly, and earth-healing approach to my entire business. The last thing I want is to cut corners on how my products affect, not only my clients' health but also the earth and climate. For each purchase made in my business I donate $1 to five different nonprofits/charities. This does not need to come out of your 40% percentage but it’d be nice if we shared similar values.
