Hi All, I am a former Bulge Bracket Investment Banker looking for a technical co-founder to work together to produce a quick and dirty MVP of a crypto <> fiat payments gateway, effectively an Enterprise B2B payments solution for emerging crypto-native developers. Goal is to create a solution ("the Solution") to go out to market and see what potential customers think. The Solution is trying to solve the following problem: the crypto industry is non-standarized, with developers building new gaming, digital art marketplaces and DeFi apps on various blockchains (Ethereum being the leader, but Solana, Polkadot and Algorand catching on with many developers). In order to onboard non-crypto native users, each platform developer needs to go through the compliance, regulatory and development burden of integrating into traditional fiat rials. This means developers need to integrate card payments, Open Banking A2A (Account-to-Account) and a host of local APMs (Alternative Payment Methods), as well as perform KYC/AML checks on their users. More so, given the bifurcated ecosystem, developers need to insure interopability between various blockchains. Further, the emergence of of CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) poses a risk to private stablecoins and payments companies that bridge the divide between crypto and CBDCs will be needed. The product aims to simplify fiat to crypto onboarding via one easy-to-use developer platform and API. As this industry becomes more regulated (it will), crypto-native companies will increasingly need traditional solutions that meet their technical needs. I am well-versed in sales, investor communications, financial modelling, budgeting and have a good eye for UI/UX. Ideally looking for a person who has worked with banking APIs before, understands the FinTech regulatory environment globally and is crypto native across a wide spectrum of blockchains. Send me a message if this sounds interesting. Ready to put capital to work here.
