[AU][MARKETING][3] Successful ecom store owner looking for technical co-founder.

Hi Reddit, I’m 23 years old, living on the Gold Coast Australia. I just stumbled upon this sub, and thought it couldn't hurt to make a post, as you never know who's reading. Bit of a back story on me; Over the last three years I’ve been running my own ecommerce business’s full-time. I’ve owned 4 successful stores with my peak month turning over 300k in revenue. I have a great eye for finding a problem and coming forth with a solution. During my time in managing and creating e-commerce stores, I’ve leant how to set up successful marketing campaigns, funnels and lead generators. I’ve spend over $700k of my own money in online marketing alone. My in depth knowledge of consumer mindset has given me the skills to create converting front end and back end processes on my websites. Over these years, I’ve lost the drive and interest I once had in ecommerce. Although I know first hand I can live comfortably off this, it’s just not fulfilling for me. I sort of stumbled into ecommerce to learn marketing and still have a niggling feeling in the back of my mind that I need to get out of this industry and into what I am truly passionate about. As a teenager, I was working with other like minded people on small gaming projects and web apps. I loved the process of working alongside others with the same mind set, motivation and ability to learn off each other. I would now love to get back into that system. I’m looking to jump back into the tech / software / app / web development world. It was once something that I spent endless hours on. Now that I have real world experience and understanding of problem solving and marketing that I can apply, I know that this is the right move, and would love to have someone to jump on board with. I’m looking to find someone with more technical knowledge than me, so that we can both learn a thing or two from each other. Web / App development is something I’m heavily interested and I’ve been spending my days relearning. I also have an 'alright' understanding with the Ruby / Ruby on Rails framework (published a couple web apps which I never managed to take to market) and a bit of front end experience. Since I know some will ask - Why don't you just pay an app developer to make the app for you? I don't find satisfaction in putting a label on a product I didn't develop. Which is partially the reason I'm leaving eCommerce. Hence the desire to find a technical partner so that we can develop something together. If you’re somebody with a good development background (preferably full stack development), with a strong ambition to learn and succeed, and would like to work together please send me a message and introduce yourself. submitted by /u/Valoured [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/odxwl4/aumarketing3_successful_ecom_store_owner_looking/
