I'm a software developer at a FAANG company looking to collaborate with an electrical engineer to develop a MVP for a potential startup. I'm looking for someone who's competent in their field, passionate about tech, and it's a big plus if you're in the Seattle area. The Problem VR sickness is a feeling of disorientation and nausea that has been experienced by 58% of polled VR users. Racing and flight games were found to be the worst offenders with 20% of users reporting frequent nausea. This unideal experience limits the viability of popular PC genres being supported in VR and slows adoption of VR platforms. I can't put external links so google "vr heaven vr motion sickness" and the first link is my source. The Idea I believe a peripheral device could be created to eliminate VR sickness and add a new dimension to VR experiences. The physical phenomenon which enables this device has already been documented however no one (to my knowledge) has attempted to leverage it in a controlled, productized way. Your Role I'm looking for an electrical engineer that can handle the hardware side of things while I work on the software. I already have a schematic of a similar device and how we could make changes to create a quick-ish MVP. I'm hoping that we can wrap up the MVP within 5 moths and continue on that path to become equal part cofounders. Feel free to leave a reply or dm if you want to hear more details or want to collaborate. submitted by /u/mooman996 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/oj7dzz/usatech2_seeking_technical_cofounder_for_vr_tech/
