Early start-up looking for someone with marketing expertise to take a co-founding role in our upcoming company. We are a travel start-up based in Tokyo with an MVP ready, though we are in the still implementing some big revisions this month, since we can not do anything but wait for the borders to reopen for tourists in the future to launch. We have developed a logarithmically driven itinerary planner, currently only for travel within Japan (though, expanding into other territories is on the table for the future). Our current team consists of the initial founder and a technical co-founder who has 12 years of experience in IT. We are in need of someone with more concrete skills to work with us to plan our digital marketing strategy. More specifically someone skilled in SEO optimizing, Adsense, social media marketing among others, to help get the service out there in the initial launch phase and grow our user base. You would work on an equity basis at the beginning with an equity share of 20% that is vested over-time with a 1 year cliff. You would also receive a 20% revenue share. What we are looking for is: someone with at least a marketing degree and a little bit of working experience in the field someone who is already living and working in Tokyo or the Kanto area and is able to meet-up at least once a month someone interested in entrepreneurship in general and not afraid to take a risk someone who can put in a couple hours a week (not full-time!)
