The initial product is a speech recognition app with a proprietary user interface to make it easy to check and edit automated transcriptions, targeted towards students (of humanities disciplines and international students). I conservatively estimate sales of $100m per year, just for the English version and not counting professional uses. My research currently shows no competing apps widely used amongst students. An MVP has been completed, and I have already collected user feedback. Thus, right from the outset you will be iterating based on feedback from real people. Previously, I had undertaken extensive validation market research. After the initial app succeeds, we will proceed to implement additional ideas for AI-driven software (and other products). The follow-up application will likely be an NLP-powered web/desktop productivity tool to expedite the production of written outputs, applicable across all industry verticals.
