A team of two looking for one more person to join our team. We are seeking someone with business development knowledge to join our late stage start-up. (We posted here previously, however, we have made a lot of progress in the last 2 months and wanted to post an updated version). We added sections that describe the progress we have made from the previous post. Location : London UK (Happy to work with any English speakers remotely). WHAT’S THE PROJECT? After realising the need for energy drink alternatives, two friends came up with the idea of developing a new energizing formula that was compact and efficient but also provided incredible stimulation and focus to students, gamers, professionals, and athletes. Our food-based product is a healthy, long-lasting and convenient source of energy specially designed to help you make the most of your day. Our product gives you a dose of moderate, effective energy produced by 50 mg of caffeine and a mixture of B vitamins. Update - We have now managed to create a proprietary formula with our new supplier with 60mg of caffeine and 100mg of caffeine per piece. Unlike the majority of our competitors, our product is now plastic free with natural ingredients. The basic formula includes Green Tea, Natural Caffeine, Guarana, Ginseng, and Schisandra. We now also have the capability of producing multiple flavours in small batches. OUR EXPERIENCE? We are a team of two who have very different set of skills. I have both sales and marketing experience. Previously, I have worked for a company based in a similar space and helped them grow a large customer base in the gaming scene. My main strength is being able to build successful sponsorship programs, that generate great sales. I have also created profitable B2B business. My business partner is a Web Developer/ Graphics designer. He has taken on the whole branding aspect of the business. From working with the packaging manufacturer, to working on the whole brand as a whole. He is currently focusing on the web development aspect of the business. WHERE ARE WE NOW? We have completed the R&D of the product, as well pre launch branding aspect of the business. Our supplier is ready to take on our order right away. Update - At the current moment in time we are waiting for new packaging samples as the product now has a different layout. Once we have completed the packaging samples, we can place our first order. We are looking to place our order and receive the stock within the next 1-2 months. Update - We also began utilizing our existing contact and informing several content creators with millions of fans about our product. The interest that we have been shown from these creators has been fantastic. Update - We have also secured a small warehouse space in the UK. (Since the product is so light and compact, it is an ideal product to ship worldwide. We have also spoke to our current supplier about potentially handling our US orders to save on shipping costs. WHAT WE NEED HELP WITH? Update - We are now able to fund the initial order ourselves, without the need for external investment. However, being able to raise additional capital would help us to increase our margins and marketing budget. At the current stage we are looking for someone with expertise in business development or in raising capital for a start-up business. Although, we have completed a large amount of the work already, we would be more than happy to change things based on our 3rd partner’s feedback.
