Hi I run a small site that allows daycares to collect COVID symptoms from children each day. Quite simply, parents fill out a quick form and results get sent to the daycare manager. In some places (cities/states/provinces) this is required, some places it's optional. I started last year and reached out to local daycares and had 2 sign up and many more interested, then my local government removed the rule stating they were required to collect this information so the other interested daycares I had dropped off. I let the 2 daycares use the tool for free all last year and I just covered the small monthly costs. In July of 2021 I emailed the two daycares telling them I would shut down the service and one of them offered to pay my costs for the year so I want to keep the service running. I previously ran a different daycare app and sold it a few years ago. At that time I signed a 'do not compete' with the buyers. I negotiated with the buyers and I owe them 15% of any revenue I collect. They also have first right of refusal to buy this app should we decide to sell it. Happy to share the contract should a potential cofounder be interested. I'm divulging all this to be upfront, but also to say that since I ran a previous app, I have access to thousands of customer emails and phone numbers. I know where all the government sites are that list this information so we have a headstart when finding customers. This is a small site now, but I think it could easily grow to be a nice side income for a new cofounder. I'm willing to give 50% share of the company, and a higher % of revenue to the right person. submitted by /u/craig5005 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/pgji5h/cantech1_tech_cofounder_looking_for_a_sales/
