[GBR][BIZ][25] Fintech co-founders seek partner in the UK open banking space.

Hi everyone, My co-founder [GBR][TECH][27] and I are looking for UK open banking partnership opportunities. We are specifically looking for a firm holding an "authorized payments institution" license from the FCA. Further, we are looking to partner with someone on the marketing and compliance sides. Besides this, we are also open to other opportunities if you believe we can create value together. A little bit about my partner and I - we started an open banking payments processing business a little over a year ago. We already have a working MVP and can process payments in a FCA sandbox environment. However, we have been waiting for FCA approval for more than 6 months, without which we cannot start processing payments. This is a little frustrating as we already have a list of beta clients that keep asking us for updates. My partner is handling the tech side (6+ years of previous software development experience) while I work on the business side (2+ years of experience in investment banking). Some info on the industry - open banking is poised to improve finance worldwide, and we can already see signs of this in the monthly open banking api access in the UK. We are at the forefront of a revolution, which will make all sectors in finance more efficient and cheaper to use. By opening access to large banks' data, third party developers can bring all kinds of improvements to all sectors of finance (not only banking, but payments, wealth management, personal finance etc.). The UK and Europe are first movers on opening bank data to third parties, but the US and other countries are also exploring the idea, so being in this space in the next 2-5 years will bring all kinds of opportunities. submitted by /u/Icy-Purchase673 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/pypssx/gbrbiz25_fintech_cofounders_seek_partner_in_the/
