Hey all, Looking for a business development "wiz" for one of my businesses. More specifically you should be able to capably sell to clients B2B and manage their accounts. Business is basically this: B2B translation services still exist (yes, despite Google translate and all that). Advent of A.I. enabled translation can change how they operate. They use humans to transcribe and translate things right now. We will insert ourselves into that process. For most purposes A.I.-based translation is more than sufficient. But for for those rarer high-need scenarios, e.g. a Fortune 100 translating some contract, our A.I. can serve to dramatically speed up human translation and reduce costs. Projecting $1.6 million profit in first 18 months. Fine with appointing you CEO and taking a Chairman role myself if you are sufficiently capable. If you build an effective lightly managed team under you, you can even take a mostly passive role yourself. Additionally you will be able to take draw (basically salary) of $100,000. It will be structured thusly: you get 50% of gross profits until you make that amount. Of the other 50%, most will go to business costs. I only take a draw after those costs/reinvestments, so maybe ~10-20%. We split gross profit down the middle thereafter. Technically I only have 7-ish years of professional experience, but I've been coding since I was 6 and went to Stanford CS at 16. Would say I'm one of the top 100 or so A.I. engineers in the world as measured by number of patents in the field and work product, almost certainly 1 of the top 10 under 30. That being said, I don't care if you even graduated high school as long as you're great at what you do. Technology is all ready to go, no barriers there. Remote fine. I split my time between NYC/SFBA but you can be anywhere. Will need to meet in person though before signing anything, I'll fly out to you (Covid permitting) if we're not near each other. As for business plans, I already had another one of my A.I. get me the name number and email of every single translation service in the US. We will avoid VC money at all costs. Pure cash-flow asset-light business with the tech all good to go, no need for VC money. This is a field that very much could yield us both multi-million dollar passive incomes in a few years but getting to $100 million idk. Besides, a lot of so-called "ai" companies out there with shitty ai drifting by on VC money that will likely starve in a post-covid capital crunch anyway. Would much rather be the last one standing with money in my pockets than put the company in that boat. DM me and we can hop on a video call sometime soon to discuss it. And if you're a B2B salesman who is interested but not quite up for the role still fell free to reach out, we may be able to come to another arrangement. Maybe 70% commission on the any sales yo make or something like that. Same goes for other interesting people. submitted by /u/GeorgieD94 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/pziwv0/usanytech7_stanford_cs_trained_ai_engineer/
