Looking for a dog-loving co-founder to join a platform that is seeing early traction! I am keeping what I am looking for relatively broad because 1) I am open to hearing your ideas and vision and 2) there are so much to do at the moment that we both / all will have to do a little bit of everything, e.g. fundraising, web dev, biz dev, social media, marketing, product dev, you name it. The product: it is a community app that connects dogs with dog-loving neighbors. For dog owners, the benefit is that they can find free help with dog-sitting and people-dog socialization. For the dog-loving neighbors, they get to enjoy the mental health benefits a dog brings without full-time ownership. The business: pet business is big business, but we are now adding a whole new group of potential consumers, dog lovers, into the mix to make it an even bigger business. I know I am being very vague right now but I am happy to go into details when we speak. Current product status: Proof of concept website is live, user survey is ongoing and currently experimenting with different iterations of a MVP Market validation: 100+ sign-ups mainly through a handful of flyers in the neighborhood and our user survey; surveyed around 80 people in NYC with the majority of them indicating they will pay to join the app. I can go on.
