Hey everyone -- looking for a co-founder for a virtual work simulation startup. Started because there is no way to see if you like a job or not, or to discover your passion without actually getting the job and working in it. Have been largely bootstrapping the business the past couple of years and now looking for a co-founder to help make this a world-changing business. Details below! The product & business (more formal description): we provide virtual work simulations where students can experience different jobs in 30 minutes to 3 hours. Through the simulations, we help corporations tackle talent shortages by widening applicant pools and funneling top candidates using data collected. On the other side, we provide students with the awareness and exposure to different career opportunities. The role needed: a co-founder who is either (1) technical or (2) has experience with sales / biz dev. The reason for the flexibility is because we have a working MVP which clients are already using, and can either push in terms of additional sales or further build in terms of the product. As other posts and my personal experience have concluded, there are so many things to do at the moment and the more important aspects to success are often intangibles such as fit, passion, grit, and the ability to figure things out. Business traction: >15 B2B clients including major financial institutions, universities, and nonprofits Investor traction: some early stage investor funding including from Bloomberg BETA and Columbia Business School Product traction: MVP which is currently used by our B2B clients (financial institutions, universities, and nonprofits) About me: passionate about education / future of work; NYC / Boston-based; experience in teaching, curriculum design, and product management. Other not-as-relevant experience: used to work in finance About you: passionate about education / the problem we are trying to solve! Thanks for reading and look forward to hearing from you! submitted by /u/chriskok1337 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/qr6yj5/usabiz10_virtual_work_simulation_startup_looking/
