We are looking to find a technical leader to bring our two sided hiring and career management platform to life. We previously outsourced our 'MVP' but have made the decision to start over on the development to get a product that is more aligned with our goals, and we realize that we need to have someone directly on our team to lead us there. The initial feedback on the vision and the problem that we are solving has been overwhelmingly positive (we even had VC's reach out regarding just a simple writeup of the concept), we have done a considerable amount of market research with potential customers, and my cofounder and I are both business leaders that have experienced the painpoints that make this a desirable product. Now we just need help finding tech (and product) leadership to properly validate the concept. At a high level- we are trying to help companies/Talent Acquisition/Hiring Managers, etc. find better quality candidates at a faster and more efficient rate than they can today. On the other side, we're trying to help professionals (job seekers and even those currently employed) find roles that they qualify for and actually get a fair chance to progress to an interview. A few sample issues that we are trying to improve: -Have you ever applied to a job and never heard back, or received an auto rejection so quickly that you know your application wasn't read? This might even be for a role that you felt overqualified for. -Have you ever tried to recruit for a position and realized that you received tons of applications, but most of them aren't a fit? To make things worse, you have to manually go through resumes just to find out that they aren't relevant to the position that you are trying to fill. -Have you ever wondered why you need to answer the same questions over and over on every job application? -Have you ever customized your resume for a specific job application? Happy to provide more details, and appreciate any leads. Our existing code might be salvageable, but we're open to starting from 0 if that is more efficient. submitted by /u/jaxnjules [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/qymuog/usabiz10_biz_founder_looking_for_technical/
