The opportunity: I hear every day the statement of “X industry is broken”. I don’t think the industry that we’ll be serving is broken but is dated. The processes are long and overwhelming also there are a few of “best practices” and “know-how” in the area. Moreover, is space for improvement as most of the actual solutions are first generation companies and the market has switched that much that are not really delivering as they should. About me: I have six years of experience in growth marketing and business development (Sales, partner programs and ABM) in B2B, SaaS and marketplaces. I worked with/for Fortune 500 and YC startups, also I led a company to acquisition as the solo member of the growth team. I’m well connected to the startup world (both VC and accelerators) as I served as advisor and led growth programs for Endeavor, Ogilvy accelerator, C ventures... The company: I’ve been running initial surveys and do all the market discovery (business plan, landings, product look and fill...). Also, we have early interest from some companies, and in conversations to build a top-notch advisory board. The company has generated revenue with the no-code MVP and has seen a growth of 34% and we have some early interest from pre-seed funds. The product: Our company focuses on “renewing” industries, one tool at a time. Our initial product is targeting the fast growing world of ales enablement. The global market for Sales Enablement Platform estimated at US$ 1.3 Billion in the year 2020, is projected to reach a revised size of US$ 4.5 Billion by 2027, The tool fulfills one of the biggest needs in sales, training. Most companies lose up to 20-30 per sales rep for poor onboarding and training. Our product has amazing growth opportunities and has been well received by the sales community. The main competitors are salesloft and showpad, they are pretty established but we look to fulfill a need that they “almost forgot” and their platform isn’t oriented to that, the training. NOTE: This is the perfect opportunity for a seasoned full stack developer with a proven track record. Experience in management or lead roles is not a must but will be preferred. Someone that has a product-first mindset and is ready to join a top notch company The role is equity base (15-20% depending on experience and implication). You can expect some compensation from Mid-January. Also, I’ll prefer European candidates or with a friendly schedule (GMT +1) submitted by /u/gotomarketfit [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/r7uphs/ukgrowth6_startup_with_early_customers_looking/
