Solo game developer with 10+ years experience in 3d modeling, programming, design, etc. seeking a sort of 'parent' if you will that will just give morale and modest finances towards the product creation as it is a solo product and the input cost is very low. I'll handle : Design, fabrication, and building of the game title to be released on STEAM. My own marketing attempts. *A well scoped and timed plan to execute on development (3 months) - and publishing may take more time due to marketing. I am not offering this as an investment or anything - I want you to commission a work - and you will be rewarded up to 50% royalty from that work which is way beyond the compensation any publisher receives. On your end of the business : you can do whatever you want to maximize our profits. You can even tell me what to put into the game, and I will let you know if it is technically feasible or not (probably not we scoped tight). You can use this as an opportunity to become a publisher with a low cost and modest effort flag-ship product. My commission rate is : 9,999usd for a product that would cost a studio upwards of 120,000k to make if they hired legitimately. I am not a legitimate hire - I am an artist offering you a commission of my work. Long story short - just looking for a hobbyist 'cofounder' of sorts that is interested in indie game development business. It's my role to be the immature developer - it's your role to be the mature business person to make us money. 50/50 cut after you pay commission. Failure condition is failure to launch in a 6 mo timeframe - resulting in the return of funds. (after another 6 mo grace okay I'm poor lol). Nobody else will offer you themselves as a slave basically and give such a massive cut - I'd like someone to take advantage. COMMISSIONS may be split up based on milestones we set - I don't need a tonne of cash. Just enough to pay the loan sharks and buy some ramen. submitted by /u/reconslide [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/reuavw/cantech10_solo_indie_game_developer_seeking/
