My background is in building electronic trading systems in traditional markets. Over the past year, I've been working with a quant trader to build out the end to end infrastructure required for algorithmic trading with an initial focus on digital assets. He has been able to apply techniques from traditional markets and trade profitably using python. We're looking to scale the infrastructure up to an institutional level. Each of us has around a decades worth of experience at bulge bracket banks in traditional markets. We are imminently looking to start trading live with our scaled up infrastructure and start building a track record. We're looking for a third co-founder who could help drive the infrastructure side forward. The ideal person would be experienced in building low latency trading systems, passionate about building a market making/proprietary trading business from the ground up and have an interest in cryptocurrencies (cefi and defi). Valuable areas to work on for the business: - Real time order management capabilities for multiple algos and exchanges - Market Data and execution capabilities on DeFi venues - Source and build on-chain or trad fi metrics to facilitate strategy research and development - Use the core framework that we've built for research and implement trading ideas both for live or backtesting. This is probably not the typical type of business for this sub, but it's a fascinating time as cryptocurrencies have unlocked an industry that historically had prohibitive barriers to entry. submitted by /u/Collatzir [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/rhvzdb/uktech10_looking_for_java_technical_cofounder_for/
