The Business Myself and my co-founder started this venture last year after doing quite a bit of research and market validation. After several months we were able to show enough promise to raise an oversubscribed pre-seed round in October for a little over $400k across 10 investors (three of which were former bosses). Depending on how the next couple of months go, we’ll likely raise another round but it would be nice if we can go ahead and get profitable! We signed our first customer in Q4 and are working towards a Q1 launch for them, but have already engaged on the services/training side. We've built up a nice pipeline but have yet to really make a push until things are more solidified with the product. The Product The product is a SaaS web application designed to align teams around visible goals with an emphasis on measurable progress and verifiable execution. It’s built with React on the front-end, Python on the backend and is deployed on AWS. Integrations and data visualizations will be critical down the road. The MVP is a few bugs away from being ready for BETA users, and we're a few features away from being customer-ready. From there, we'll be going into customer development mode and the sky is the limit. The Market We’re in an emerging space in technology with many well-funded players. The market is big, but we're starting in a niche we have experience with. It's a B2B play. The Team Currently, the founding team is myself (marketing) and my co-founder (sales/cs). We met/worked at a start-up years ago that did quite well, so much so that we decided to do our own. The rest of the team includes a full-time full-stack engineer (based in Ukraine who is fantastic) and a handful of part-time contractors. We recently brought on a product consultant to help us get through MVP/BETA, and we’ll likely hire a UX agency for the next version of the product. What We're Looking For First and foremost we’re looking for someone who is a good cultural fit. High motivation is also critical. If you are a highly skilled developer with experience building B2B SaaS web applications that scale, even better. We're looking for full-time but open to part-time engagements if wanting to feel things out first. Knowledge of the languages we use also pretty important. What We Can Offer Purpose, autonomy, remote work, influence over culture, salary, bonus, equity, and the opportunity to potentially one day tell the story (assuming all goes well) that you made it big by stumbling upon a Reddit post. Can share more. DM's / messages work best. Looking to fill in the next week or two. submitted by /u/DasFumey [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/rzbrv8/usabiz10_preseed_funded_b2b_saas_web_application/
