ABOUT US: I'm a chemist with a day job in pharma, and I have been running a chemical startup on the side since 2020, with 3 friends: one handles 2 websites of ours + amazon + our b2b platform, and the other handles sales, and the third handles finances and inventory. ​ I handle product development / formulation, labeling+photoshop, website, and sales. We did 50k in revenue last year, and 380k in revenue in 2021. Of course, in commodities revenue =/= anywhere close to profit, our profit margin is 20% before paying our sales team of 1; after payout our margins are 10-15%. ​ There are several avenues we would like to explore with our chemicals but we haven't been able to fully grow as my original partner's day job has gotten more demanding and he expects a child in February.
