[CAN][BIZ][14] Seeking a second technical (mobile app development) co-founder for consumer-facing logistics SaaS.

We are a business incorporated in Canada looking for a second technical co-founder based either in the US or Canada. Our team is currently split between Canada (Vancouver/Calgary) and the US (Seattle).

Our team of four currently consists of myself (with a focus on product and marketing), a technical co-founder focused on backend, a business development person, and financial person. Between the four of us we have over 35 years of experience in different fields including engineering, finance, software development, marketing, and even politics. We’ve all to come together on this vision

We are currently in our pre-seed round focusing on private equity and grants to develop our MVP.

Our backstory

Our service aims to help alleviate the ‘last mile’ of delivery problem in logistics, and to provide security and convenience for end-users. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the fragility of our global supply chain systems has become apparent to everyone, from your average consumer to federal governments.

E-commerce and their deliveries have seen a dramatic increase as people have become more used to the convenience of working or staying home. Because of this massive burden on a system that has only begun to adapt to e-commerce in the last decade, governments, e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon), and logistics (such as Fed-Ex) are very motivated improve the delivery ecosystem.

Our platform deals with the final chain of custody in delivery. While we won’t be solving the global problem on our own, we will be doing our part to help ease the burden on retailers and provide options for customers. We have been at this for over a year and are currently working with an incubator based in Calgary.

What we are looking for in a Partner

Your ideal role will be to work closely with our backend-focused co-founder to develop a native app both on iOS & Android (bonus if you are also able to build a web app or browser extension). Having an understanding of the fundamentals of UX/UI would definitely be a helpful asset.

We are open to both Equity or Equity/Salary arrangements.
