Hey r/cofounder,
I'm here with an opportunity that I believe could be transformative in the tech recruitment space. It's a bit of a longshot posting here, but hey, why not?
In 2022, my team and I tested a technical recruiter marketplace that generated a little over $130k in sales. Based on the insights we gathered, we secured a $100k pre-seed SAFE and hit the pause button on sales to focus on developing our platform. We're now evolving into a technical recruitment marketplace with an on-the-spot AI-driven candidate assessment feature to ensure quality and consistency of the recruiters. Our business model is innovative and flips the script on a $10 billion annual industry.
As much as I enjoy being immersed in product development, I've come to realize that I need a partner to fill in my gaps. That's where you come in. I'm on the hunt for a co-founder who can spearhead business development and validate our customer segment while I focus on product.
This role isn't just about hitting targets (i.e., sales) - it's about building our playbook from the ground up. You'll be laying the foundation for our initial sales team, and once we have enough proof points that we're ready to scale, you'll be instrumental in bringing them on board.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a keen interest in tech companies, AI, and recruiting, and a vision for how the convergence of these elements can revolutionize the industry. We're looking at improving the lives of recruiters, job seekers, and hiring managers - and I believe we have the capacity to make a real impact.
As for the compensation, we're flexible. It could be pure equity (we're still able to issue common/founder shares), salary, or a hybrid. But what we're really after is someone who wants to be part of a startup with big dreams. Someone who's excited about the long-term journey, the ups and downs, the late nights, and the early mornings - because they believe in what we're building.
I know this is a bit of a wild request to post on a Friday night, but here we are. I'm so entrenched in the tech side of things, I need someone who can balance us out and help turn this vision into a reality. If that sounds like you, then send me a DM.
