I'm Ste, a designer/UI engineer working on a Goodreads alternative called Hardcover together with a small team.
Our mission is to become the best platform for discovering new books and interacting with other readers. Started generating revenue and growing our reader base steadily.
Currently looking for a front-end cofounder, good in Next JS and Tailwind.
We also have our apps published with Cordova, so being familiar with it is a plus.
We work on an equity-pie model, based on contributions, with a 320h cliff. Right now the other members of the team are a full-stack dev and an AI engineer working on our recommendations model and getting better book data through the OpenAI API.
If you're interested, DM me or reply here! Also, if building a better platform for books seems exciting but you have another skillset, DM me anyway, would love to chat.
