ABOUT ME I'm currently running a profitable $5mn Fintech startup (Co-founder & CEO). I have been a programmer for almost a decade now (Cloud & Backend)
PROBLEM Most of the hacks happen due to social engineering and human negligence. Often times passwords are stored and shared irresponsibly, 2FA is not enabled, access is given to resources which low level employees shouldn't have. These are some of the challenges early stage founders face which they cannot address as founders are busy with many things and this ends up low on their TO-DO list
SOLUTION An outsourcing IT company which handles and manages IT and intra-company level cyber security (not the cyber security of their servers or their products, that's something usually the CTOs usually specialize in). Think of us as a remote IT department for $999/month. We will ensure you are following the best practises and have 24x7 tech support and assistance
ROLES I would be launching LinkedIn ad campaigns targetting such CEOs and reaching out to them. I would be responsible for hiring the remote workers in India and co-responsible for their day to day tasks. You would be co-selling with me to our prospective clients and co-managing the remote team of workers with me.
GOAL I aim to build an agency business here and launch on day 1 with just an ad and a landing page. We are not a SaaS company, just a fundamentally profitable business from the get go managing the IT resources for various companies by outsourcing it to India (where I live)
TIME COMMITMENT This would be a part time project for the both of us and our main role here is selling to clients. We both can keep our day jobs and if it doesn't work out, we'll find out within a month.
If you don't like the idea, I would love to hear why this is a stupid idea in the comments. Would help out a lot. Thanks!
