Sources say AMD will use TSMC's new Arizona fab for the production of new HPC AI chips on the 5nm mode. This move begins an AI chip supply chain in the US, with TSMC and Amkor manufacturing and packaging AMD's high-performance chips. The positive news is a boon for the embattled Arizona fab.
