Do you love Fortnite? Don’t lie, I know at least some of you reading this do. I play the game without a hint of shame, even if I have to turn on what I call Old Man Mode and do it in no-build. I’m not fan enough to buy a Peely the Banana-themed portable SSD to show my fanhood, but hey, you do you. SanDisk is here to let you fly that flag in 1TB or 2TB capacities, at $90 and $150, respectively.
Even if you’re not a Fortnite player, the simple emoticon-style face and splash of blue on the loop makes this a nicely bright alternative to more button-down options. For that reason I’m not so hot on the Fortnite-branded USB drive, which adds some “nana nana” graphics above and below the face. SanDisk says that both of these are “limited edition,” but I suspect that they’re limited to as many as they can sell. They’re available for purchase now.

Elsewhere in SanDisk’s CES announcement are a couple of other interesting drives aimed specifically at mobile users. The Creator Phone SSD comes with a MagSafe-compatible magnetic attachment, which lets it stick to the back of an iPhone (or an Android phone with a third-party MagSafe case). You’ll still need to connect it over USB-C with 3.2 Gen 2 speeds to actually use its 1TB or 2TB of storage. The smaller capacity will be $110 when it launches “this spring” (presumably spring in the American sense), no word on the price for 2TB.

If you have an older model phone you might be interested in the Creator Phone Drive, which comes with both USB-C and Lightning ports but maxes out at just 256GB. It’s available to purchase now ($50 to $70) but ships in 3 to 4 weeks.
