SymfonyCon Disneyland Paris 2022: Climate change and IT, scaling sustainably

Today we are pleased to announce not one, but two speakers, who will talk in unison on a topical subject:

Fred Plais (@FredPlais), CEO at Platform.sh, and Leah Goldfarb (@leahgoldfarb), Environmental Impact Officer at Platform.sh, will talk about "Climate change and IT, scaling sustainably":

This session will provide an overview of climate change, explore how to quantitatively reduce your carbon footprint in the cloud, and explore what actionable information is needed by the client. The ICT sector contributes ~4% of global greenhouse gas emissions – this is more than global aviation.

They will join our incredible team of confirmed speakers: Fabien Potencier, Sebastian Bergmann, Marion Hurteau, Diego Aguiar, Ondřej Mirtes, Titouan Galopin, Pauline Vos, Tomas Votruba, David Buchmann, Alexander M.
