Tascam CD-200

Rack-mountable CD player that plays audio CDs, MP3 CDs and WAV file CDs and represents the upgraded version of TASCAM’s best-selling CD-160 model. This version uses the TEAC CD-5020A, a custom designed transport for audio playback with a smooth loading drawer and low clamping noise. The internal clock has been improved for a smoother sound and decreased jitter. The player has unbalanced RCA outputs and S/PDIF digital out on coaxial and optical jacks. MP3 and WAV file playback is supported, as well as CD TEXT and ID3 tag, and front-panel Folder navigation buttons are provided. The player offers various play modes including Continue, Random, Program, Repeat All and Repeat Single. Other functions include an Index Search, a ±12% pitch control (for analogue outputs only) and a shock/skip preven tion memory buffer. A 6.3mm stereo headphone output is also provided.
