Quantum computing leader, IonQ, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT, aimed at fostering the growth of the country's quantum computing ecosystem. Under the agreement, IonQ will leverage its resources and expertise to operate an educational, training, and leadership development program for quantum science and technology professionals, including master's and doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and industry professionals in South Korea. This collaboration is part of South Korea's ambition to become a global quantum-centered economy by 2030. The MOU was signed at the Quantum Korea 2023 event, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT in Seoul.
