I am not a professional investor, and in 2020, helping my parents navigate technology, I invested in some shares at StartEngine. I researched as far as I can go on what might have happened, but cannot get a straight answer.
A few days ago, I received email notifications from Continental Stock Transfer and Trust in relation to Warrant and Common Stocks related to the original investment and the fact that the stock is now public.
Please note that you can now move your warrants to your brokerage account via Direct Registration System (DRS) transactions. Your warrant statement has been revised to include the updated Ticker Symbol (REDACTED) and warrant expiration date of 8/10/33.
What I am confused about are the following Continental states I only have 15 shares but we have all the documentation from StartEngine that I purchased 500.
I cannot locate a specific answer as to why the stock qty would decrease so drastically but was also thrown by the out of blue emails from Continental Stock Transfer and Trust.
Thank you in advance for any tips that lead me into the right direction as to what might be happening.
