I missed the boat on Williams-Sonoma’s (WSM) earnings beat after they had a major dip just before the report. I really like the stock medium to long term but I don’t know if now is a good time to buy in given it just surged significantly and might cool off. Pretty bummed about it as I had a gut feeling but ignored it.
Given that I’ve been awful about timing this year, I’m curious about everyone else’s approach. In a general sense, how do you play situations like these? Do you buy as soon as you can? Do you wait for a dip? How do you personally deal with market FOMO?
