Get this Ryzen-powered Dell laptop with 16GB RAM for just $405

It’s hard to find a good budget laptop, especially one that packs enough memory to actually run Windows 11 without choking. Today, Woot is offering a refurbished Dell Inspiron 15 with a Ryzen processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, all for just $404.69.

The Inspiron 15 3535 model is already a fairly budget 15-inch design, going for as little as $270 from Dell directly. But I wouldn’t recommend that model because 8GB of RAM isn’t enough for Windows and a modern browser (where you’ll probably be spending most of your time). This Woot deal is the cheapest one available with at least 16GB of RAM, and the 6-core Ryzen 7530U CPU is great for efficiency. Other highlights include a full-size HDMI port, SD card slot, and a full-size keyboard.

There are a couple drawbacks to this deal. First, it’s a third-party refurbished model with only a 90-day warranty. If that gives you pause, there are similar 16GB models of the Inspiron 15 on Amazon and Dell for a bit more, brand new, though they have different processor choices. The other foible—which applies to all versions of this laptop—is that the USB-C port is data only. The laptop still uses an old-fashioned barrel charger for the battery, which isn’t interchangeable with your phone, etc.

If you’re okay with those issues, this is a great deal on a laptop that’ll handle basic tasks well. Unlike some other Woot deals, this one will stick around for a few weeks… unless the stock runs out.
