Please listen to Mark Zuckerberg performing ‘Get Low’ with T-Pain

If I know anything, it’s that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is a certified Wife Guy. Like, that man really loves his wife, pediatrician and philanthropist Priscilla Chan.

He commissioned a seven foot statue of her, created the custom minivan she w

‘We’re getting a kakistocracy’: Social media users are reeling over Trump’s defense secretary pick

On Tuesday evening, President-elect Donald Trump tapped Fox News host Pete Hegseth as his pick for Defense Secretary–the same man who believes germs aren’t real because . . . he can’t see them.

Hegseth is a decorated Army veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He also, in his own words, hasn’t washed his hands in more than 10 years. “I don’t really wash my hands ever,” he

How long will Elon Musk and Donald Trump’s lovefest last?

The bromance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk is one of the strangest outcomes of the 2024 presidential election cycle, with Musk stumping for Trump on the latter’s successful presidential campaign, and pushing Trump to voters through X, his social network. Postelection, the bromance has continued,

Amazon is shutting down Freevee, its ad-supported streaming service

Amazon is shutting down its free, ad-supported video streaming service Freevee, a spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday.

Freevee’s library of content, including hit show Jury Duty, has migrated to Prime Video, where much is expected to stay in front of its paywall so that non-Prime customers can still access content. The phasing out, which is expected to take place over the next several weeks, is a consolidation of Amazon’s video efforts.

Thanks to Openvibe, there’s life after Twitter

As part of this newsletter’s farewell to Twitter, I was going to begin with a nostalgic look back at my earliest tweets from 2007, which—true to early stereotypes about the site—tended to involve me announcing that I was having breakfast or going to bed. I was even going to link to some of them. But Twitter Advanced Search is busted at the moment, which somehow seems more fitting than if it were working.

‘Good experience builds loyalty’: Chewy’s CEO on meeting customer demand

As artificial intelligence transforms customer service and workplace tools, many companies still struggle to capture that elusive human connection. Chewy CEO Sumit Singh explains that a “moat” of human-led customer service was built around the Chewy brand so that it can compete in the evolving marketplace. Sarah Robb O’Hagan—a former executive of Gatorade, Equinox, and, most recently, Exos—calls for leaders to understand that employee life cycles are just as important as customer life cycles

‘Cuss Your Boss Out’ is blowing up on TikTok

If you can’t stand your boss, let me introduce you to “CEO” Calimar White, also known as Agent Ratliff. Ratliff runs a “business” called Occupational Cares Diversity Affairs (OCDA), aimed at taking down horrible bosses. How? Show up in person to “cuss their ass out” (his words).
