I need something that sends out alerts on elevated volatility. Is there anything that does this? When a stock shoots up out of nowhere, that first 1-5% is crucial for entering these positions and if you’re not stalking the market all day you miss these entrances. Especially for options trading. What services/websites are out there offering something like this?
I’ve been in this stock since 2020 and I’ve done a ton of research on their intranasal ketamine. Patent pending in the states, international patents in place. This is a dual enantiomer ketamine, low dose, non-invasive method of administration. Their stage 2 trial has wrapped up with readout expected mid-September of this year. Read: 3 years guaranteed exclusivity prior to patent approval.
There is hardly any volume in this stock. Almost a hundred institu
District general retailers, auto dealers, and hospitality contacts reported mixed business activity and a slightly negative outlook. A Little Rock auto dealer reported that business activity was down slightly as bank financing continues to tighten.
Auto purchases remained subdued in most District states. Credit standards continued to tighten for all loan types, loan spreads narrowed, and deposit rates moved higher. Delinquency rates edged up. Contacts ca

A company mission and CEO (Chris Urmson) that I believe in, but it’s not yet profitable and awaiting to commercialize in 2024. However, their stock has went up 150% in a month. I’m up 100%. Now I’ve always considered it a risky play, obviously, and was okay with that. However, recently I’ve been wondering if I’ve made the wrong decision… Any input or advice? What my thoughts are: -Sell now and take profits, since it might be short-lived. Although I believe in it

I like to invest small amounts in a large amount of companies. This can make comparing financial statements a bit of a hassle sometimes

I was curious if it's ever deemed as a good idea to balance that by selling 20k in LTG, even if I intend on rebuying that same stock immediately after? I figure it would just remove some of the tax burden in general.
Just looking for advice, no idea if this makes sense or if there is something better I should
Trying to consolidate our small portfolios. Don't really want to liquidate and then shift the funds over but that thought had crossed my mind. Just liquidate and immediately repurchase in my account. I assume wash sales wouldn't come into play with that.
The Wall Street Journal seems to have an axe to grind with AT&T and Verizon over lead cables. They keep running this story on the front page for several days. I mean they have made their point and most people don’t care. The point is it seems more like a vendetta than journalism.
I got into this treasury index after covid and have been holding since, wondering if there are any follow investors that have/had a position and what they are doing with it. I am personally thinking of selling it and putting the money into a larger bank instead.
