AMD to present Neural Texture Block Compression in London — rivals Nvidia's texture compression research

A pair of AMD scientists will present their findings on neural texture block compression next week at EGSR in London. The research is very similar to Nvidia's ongoing work with neural network-based texture compression first announced last year.
