tl;dr Early stage startup trying to make corporate culture and D&I programs to be meaningful and helpful for everyone from exec suite to entry level or part time. Looking for a cofounder who's an expert in industrial psychology, HR, people ops, D&I, or related for a diverse team. Near-term focus is getting 1 client for a proof of concept, and day-to-day is identifying solid leads for our services, refining the services, sales/informational info pitches, and eventually delivering programs. The Company & Products Inclusion Health is offering small/medium-sized businesses services to improve their company cultures and D&I activities so they're not performative and not just bias trainings/exec coaching. We want to amplify the psychological safety and voice of every employee and bridge gaps across the top and bottom and teams who don't normally work together. Currently working on projects to help a nonprofit write a Values Statement and Best Practice Guidelines for living those values. New product focus -- Culture Checkup: Helping companies measure their cultural/D&I strengths and gaps, hyper-tailored solutions, and how to monitor things over time. Immediate Company Goals Find a company to pilot our services in a custom way so we can get some traction and marketing testimonials. About Me I come from a technical background as a data scientist, moving more into strategy, client operations/delivery, consulting, and people management. I founded Inclusion Health based on personal experience where my job was my dream job on paper, but I was unsupported and cultural and HR pressures led to me waking up and dreading going to work. Overall though, I'm mission-driven too. I have a passion for community and concern for the problematic world of Bay Area startup culture and its homogenous workforces. When moving into people management and seeing some pressures of workplace politics, I started thinking about a simple premise: We all spend too much time at work to not feel like we belong there. I kicked off the company once I saw new challenges of building community remotely due to COVID-19, and then further with the recent social justice protests. Professionally, I have a strong technical background, receiving a PhD from Arizona State University where I focused on modeling psychological phenomena and algorithms for optimized, yet personalized behavioral interventions. For the past six years I've focused on data science for understanding how people interrelate to the systems and circumstances in which they’re immersed. Moving more recently into strategy, people management, and consulting operations, I've been able to focus on some big questions like How can we leverage both data and the lessons of 2020’s social movements to improve communities? About You I'm looking for a domain expert cofounder. Someone who knows the HR, people ops, industrial psychology, or diversity & inclusion space very well. It's important to me that my team is representative, and you should too. This is a part time side hustle, but we do have several moving parts: We'll want your input immediately on writing a Values Statement for a nonprofit. Once we have a client for a pilot of our main product (Culture Checkup), you'll leverage your domain experience to help deliver. As a cofounder you'll wear many hats though, including marketing, sales, project and product management as we try to get this into the world. Compensation Milestone-vested equity. Potential for smaller amounts of cash for individual client projects. Open to more consistent cash compensation once we get revenue. DM me with an intro if interested! Referrals welcomed too. submitted by /u/GetFlyeredUp [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/m3l9u4/usabiz7_seeking_domain_expert_coo_cofounder_for/
