Why are people so obsessed with insider selling on this sub?
I've posted several ideas here and almost every time I get comments back about insider selling.
Most sales are not nefarious. Executives are frequently paid in stock, and must sell that stock if they want to buy things. That's normal.
I do consider excessive selling as a tell, but it comes up a lot. Insider buying is a good sign, in general though. There's many reasons to sell, as the phrase goes.
Any thoughts why this comes up so quickly and frequently?
