Say what you will about Netflix’s industry practices and mishandling of original content, but you can’t deny that the streaming service has lots of highly bingeable shows still in its library — especially when you use a VPN to access region-locked content from other countries.
Netflix has long offered the ability to download episodes for offline viewing, even on the cheapest “with ads” subscription plan. But what if you want to binge all 180 episodes of Seinfeld? That’s a lot of episodes to download one by one…
Thankfully, Netflix just announced in a blog post that the beloved Season Download button, which was previously only available on the Android app, is now available for iPhone and iPad users. With it, you can conveniently download an entire season with one click.
How to download complete seasons
Search Netflix for the series you want to download. Tap on the show and call up the details page for it. As usual, you’ll see buttons for “Play” and “Download” — but scroll further down and you’ll see a “Download Season” button alongside the “My List,” “Rate,” and “Share” buttons.

When you click the Download Season button, Netflix will immediately queue up all the episodes for download, one after the other. Once downloaded, the episodes will be available to watch under the “My Netflix” tab of the app.
Who can download seasons on Netflix?
As of this writing, eason downloading is available on Android devices, Fire tablets, iPhones, and iPads. You’ll need to have the latest versions of their respective Netflix apps. Note that any restrictions that apply to your Netflix subscription plan still apply when downloading seasons.
For example, ad-free plans can have 100 active downloads per device, but ad-supported plans are limited to 15 downloads per device per calendar month. That means if you have an ad-supported plan, you’ll likely hit your download cap with just one or two seasons.
