I'm the founder of Omnistrat. We launched at the beginning of the year and have freemium customers. Product is in the highly competitive space of team collaboration. Our differentiator is that we are targeting open, loosely connected collaborations working on problem-solving efforts. Think university or non-profit-led, government-funded regional efforts. What it lacks in sexiness, it makes up for in social good by solving problems the world can't ignore like climate change, sustainability, economic development, etc. Don't kid yourself either that there is no money to be made. Unimaginable amounts of funding globally (think trillions) are going into solving these problems. Come along for the ride. I know what I'm doing (two prior exits). I own product vision/UX and distribution/sales (decades of experience in both). Already have a distribution partner who is a leader in our beachhead market with 800 practitioners to potentially tap. About to raise a pre-seed round and Having a balanced team puts Omnistrat in a better position to raise. I'm doing this to accelerate GTM as I could grow organically and continue with the EU-based dev shop I have been successfully using. Although, I have exhausted my personal funding used to get the product launched, so now I have to wait to convert paying customers to fund future dev.
