The problem: FLEXlm license management is almost 30 years old. Managing it for compliance, high availability, and performance normally takes a dedicated team of license administrators that only large enterprises can afford. We will disrupt the industry by providing enterprise-class licensing services delivered from the Cloud, allowing our customers to focus on engineering productivity and not on licensing. In addition, existing licensing analytics software packages use old relational database technologies for reporting. We will make use of Data Lake concepts and modern reporting interfaces to give companies greater visibility in a more user-friendly way so that they can effectively manage their spend. We will also incorporate machine learning models into usage data to allow companies to predict with greater confidence what their future usage will be so that they can better manage operations and budget. The need: A devops engineer who will be our CTO to take our existing code base in Cloudformation, Terraform, and Packer and fully productionize it for operations. We also need to begin development of the analytics platform, planned to be based on Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus. The opportunity: To be in on the ground floor of a niche market and to develop a cloud-based SaaS platform. The chance to get your hands dirty with lots of exciting technologies in an environment that's focused on customers and not on internal politics. We're based in the north Austin area and would love to find a technical co-founder local to us. DM me for more details and if you're local potentially a meet-up for coffee to discuss in person (I'm fully vaccinated). submitted by /u/dmmagill [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/nzo6au/usatxtech5_looking_for_technical_cofounder_to/
