Hi everyone, About myself: Engineering Physics background. Spent 4 years in McKinsey, part of it advising start-ups and VCs on growth and product strategy. For the past year, I've been part of early stage start-up in the SF Bay Area, working of a cross-functional role touching product, demand generation, GTM, sales, and corporate development. Originally from Canada and potentially looking to move back or stay in the Bay Area I've been exploring a very exciting idea in the Sales Productivity & Collaboration space for the past few months. The Diagnostic: Sales representative spend a majority of their time doing low value-added admin work (i.e., update information in CRM, coordinating amongst stakeholders, running after approval / documents). They should spend their time doing the strategic thinking and talking with customers instead. Today, sales rep in mid-size organizations mostly use one of 3 set of tools: Calendar / notes: Hard to track and very reactive (vs. proactive) Slack / MSFT Teams: Conversational based and unstructured CRM: Great system of record, not a great system of action given relatively poor UI / UX The Thesis: I believe there is an opportunity to build an AE-centric hub that will help sales rep to review, prioritize, and execute their work in the day-to-day as well as collaborating with other stakeholders to drive faster sales velocity and higher deal size. This solution would be integrated in existing systems and be very intuitive to use. There is a clear AI play here around actionable recommendations, predictive analytics, etc. What I've done: I've interviewed 5-10 sales representatives (more to come) to validate the opportunity and pain point I've done competitive research on the market, mapping the sales value chain, the pain points and current solutions to understand the white space opportunity I've prioritized a set of use cases to focus on and drafted some high level solution front-end architecture I've started to craft a pitch deck to tell the broader story What I'm looking for: A technical cofounder to help build an MVP solution and define the technology vision for the solution Someone with tangible experience building SaaS product and leading teams Someone ready to invest time and who is passionate about creating something great Someone curious, agile, and positive in nature If this resonates with you and it is something you are interesting in exploring more, please DM me and we can continue talking! submitted by /u/EarGroundbreaking815 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/o2b087/usacabiz7_looking_for_a_technical_cofounder_for_a/
