About me Hey y'all, I'm a software engineer (with the usual MERN stack + other adjacent technologies). I worked within a couple of startups and I got to learn a lot about marketing and how to approach go-to market strategies. The problem How I see it, hiring has 2 main problems: 1) a lot of internal knowledge on how to do a job is either: a) lost, when employees quit b) rehashed, since there isn't internally stored anywhere => a knowledge system to record processes and capture the notes of actual/former employees 2) endorsements and references on LinkedIn are stale and full of people trying to game the platform => an incentive mechanism for people to a) get the referral bounty if somebody b, and b) have skin-in-the-game to provide accurate data. I have working prototypes for both of these ideas (some code + Figma UI prototypes) Depending on who's interested and how we're vibing, I'm willing to attack either of these ideas. We're disrupting a billion dollars industry, so we'd need the headcount and move as fast as possible. I became disillusioned with the indie hacker trend, can't do much alone.
