The pitch: X is a platform to brainstorm, research and create teaching materials. We use AI to intelligently search and generate lesson plans, engaging activities, and other educational content. We want to create thoughtful experiences and spaces that enable the students of tomorrow to learn in diverse and inclusive ways. Our goal is to imagine and shape opportunities for teachers and students to learn in dynamic, interactive, and engaging ways. My experience is in growth marketing, sales, and automation. I worked with 5 AI startups, one went through YC (W’20) and the other raised $10M. Second-time founder, the previous startup partnered with Expedia and was recognized in “Top 25 Hot Travel Startups” by Phocuswright. This summer I met with another cofounder (product strategist and UX designer), built MVP, and completed customer development & research. Now we are focused on growing the community, designing Beta version, and fundraising. We are looking for a CTO (cofounder), founding engineers, and tech advisors (with ML and NLP experience). We don't have a preferred stack, since we work lean, so we should validate hypotheses as quickly as possible. PROBLEM: Teachers spend countless hours searching for materials, brainstorming ideas, and creating engaging lessons. That time could be spent on teaching students. SOLUTION: Teachers search for a topic and find all sorts of content (videos, games, images, text; from scholarly articles to TikTok). Brainstorm engaging activities with the click of a button. Instantly share with students and collaborate with colleagues. VALIDATION: 15+ deep interviews with educators, 70+ MVP users, 230+ users on the waitlist PROJECT STATUS: Working MVP; product prototypes in Figma; growing organically The primary focus is to lead/guide the development effort for the longer term.
